It's Me Again...
Well, we indeed go to Disney World in October. I did not reach my goal of 299, but I did manage to get down to 355 before we left. And I was able to ride everything!! It was great. It was the first time that we, as a family, were able to all walk on any ride we wanted and ride together. Of course, since we have returned, I have gained back 9 lbs. I have to put a stop to it before I gain everything back. I could not take that. I am down 13 lbs. from where I was last year at this time, so that is encouraging. I would enjoy being down much more. I am coaching my kids' basketball teams again this year. I don't worry about getting around and doing the coaching part, it is the shirts that they give you to wear that never fit. It should fit a little better than it did last year, but I would love to have even more room in it. Anyway, I am definitely in a lot better place than I was the last time I posted. I just have to figure out how to take that next step. Until next year...

Where There's a Goal, There's a Plan...
So, we booked a trip to Disney World in October. I am currently at 380lbs. My goal is to be at 299 by the time we go to Florida. I love Disney World. I don't know what it is about it, but it makes me happy. What won't make me happy is if I can't fit on any of the rides or can't walk around the park for longer than 30 minutes without needing a nap.
With the goal firmly in place, there now has to be a plan. I have lost about 7lbs. in the last three weeks, which is not even close to enough. So, I am going to try Weight Watchers again, starting Monday. I will also be going to the gym everyday and either walking or lifting some weights.
Maybe this will be the time. I sure hope so...

I've Lost a Little, But Not Enough
I have lost about 10lbs. since the last time I updated this blog. Of course, that only gets me back to the original weight I was at back in September.
Last week, I tried a new plan of eating 400 calories or less every three hours 5-6 times a day. I thought I was doing well, but when I weighed in on Sunday morning, I had gained a pound!!! Very discouraging, my friends, very discouraging. So, I haven't been doing that this week. I have gone back to just eating what I want, but trying not to go crazy.
We'll see how it goes...
